Funny Bio

With over two decades of experience in youth ministry, Mikey has become somewhat of a professional teenager whisperer. His life’s mission? To ensure the church not only remembers the gospel but wakes up, gets out of bed, and grabs a coffee with it. Mikey’s unique approach combines biblical truths with the kind of energy you usually only see in toddlers after a candy binge. An author, speaker, and all-around crowd-igniter, Mikey has a knack for making scripture come alive—sometimes with the help of an awkward story from his own life. Whether he’s on stage at a school, camp, or conference, Mikey leaves audiences laughing, inspired, and probably wondering how he manages to have so much energy without caffeine.

Funny Bio
Ryan Welch has spent nearly the last ten years in student ministry, which basically makes him fluent in teenage sarcasm and TikTok references. As a new dad and current doctoral student, Ryan is learning the art of running on less sleep than a youth lock-in while still pretending coffee is a food group: always black, never fancy.

When he is not preaching, mentoring next-gen leaders, or leading mission trips, you will likely find him in the mountains backpacking or in front of a TV yelling at Aggie football like he is part of the coaching staff. He is passionate about helping the church live out the Gospel in everyday life. Ryan’s goal is simple: to follow Jesus faithfully and authentically, while encouraging others to do likewise.
